Compress JPG and PNG Images Online
Photos straight off a phone are 4–8 MB each. That's fine for printing a poster, completely overkill for a website or a Slack message. Compressing them down to 200–500 KB usually has no visible quality loss — the eye can't see most of what gets thrown away.
Pick high, balanced, or smallest. Drop in up to 20 images at once. The page shows you each file's old and new size, and you can preview the result before downloading. If you only want to compress one and not the rest, deselect them in the list.
Dimensions stay the same — this only changes file size. If you also need to resize (say, from 4000px to 1200px), use the Image Resize tool first, then compress.
