Who is it for?

For anyone who photographs a document and has to send it as a PDF: people uploading a photo of an ID or diploma to a job or school portal, tenants sending the pages of a lease to a landlord in one file, students collecting homework pages into one PDF, and anyone passing a month of receipts and invoices to their accountant as a single file.

What is JPG to PDF for?

It puts the JPG photos you took with your phone into one PDF in the order you choose, one photo per page. Most application portals, schools and government offices ask for a PDF, not photos. With this tool your photos of an ID, diploma, invoice or homework are in the right format in seconds.

JPG photos go into the PDF as they are, without being recompressed, so the photo in the PDF is exactly as sharp as the one you took and text doesn't blur. The location (GPS), phone make and model that your phone writes into the photo are not carried into the PDF.

By default each photo is placed on an A4 page, uncropped and in its own orientation: a landscape photo on landscape A4, a portrait photo on portrait A4. Photos taken with the phone held sideways come out the right way up too.

Is Convert JPG to PDF free?

Convert JPG to PDF is completely free: no sign-up, no registration and no watermark. It works online — just open it in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer; you never install anything.

Your files are deleted from the server once the job is done; they are not shared with anyone and their content is not inspected. There is no daily limit, no trial period and no hidden fee.

Why PDF7?

No quality loss

The JPG is not re-saved; the image data in the PDF is byte-for-byte the photo you took.

Ready for A4

Photos sit on an A4 page uncropped and in their own orientation, so printers and portals accept them.

Location data removed

The GPS location, phone make, model and serial number stored in the photo are not carried into the PDF.

No watermark, no sign-up

No logo is stamped on the output and no email is asked for.

Frequently asked questions

Does converting JPG to PDF reduce quality?

No. The JPG photo goes into the PDF without being recompressed; resolution and sharpness stay the same. That's also why the PDF is about as large as the photos together.

The PDF is too big to email. What should I do?

Phone photos are 2–4 MB each, so a 20-photo PDF can pass 40 MB. After creating it, run it through Compress PDF at the "Recommended" level; it usually shrinks several times while staying easy to read on screen.

Does the photo's location end up in the PDF?

No. The GPS location, make, model and serial number your phone writes into the photo are removed; the image data itself is untouched. The photo's orientation and capture date are kept.

Can I change the order of the photos?

Yes. Drag the cards to reorder them; on a phone, press and hold a card for a moment, then drag. Remove a photo with the × on its card, or add more at the end with "Add image".

What's the difference between "Fit to A4" and "Image size"?

With Fit to A4, each photo is centred on an A4 page with a 1 cm margin, so the output prints directly. With Image size, each page is as big as its photo; for phone photos that means pages over a metre wide, and you'll need to choose "fit to page" when printing.

How many photos can I add?

50 photos at once, 100 MB per photo, 300 MB in total. For more, create two PDFs and join them with Merge PDF.

Are my photos stored?

No. The photos are used only to create the PDF, deleted from the server when it's done, and never shared with anyone.
