Convert Word to PDF Without Formatting Issues
Save-as-PDF in Word usually works fine — until it doesn't. A weird bullet style on Mac becomes squares on Windows. A custom font gets substituted with something that pushes everything to the next page. The conversion here uses the actual LibreOffice engine, which handles edge cases more reliably.
Drop your .doc or .docx file. Headers and footers come through. Page numbers stay intact. Tables don't lose their borders. Images stay at their original DPI. Embedded fonts get included where the license allows; otherwise they get substituted with something visually close.
If the document has tracked changes or comments, you'll be asked whether to include them in the PDF or accept all changes first. Same for hidden text and form fields — there's a checkbox if you want them visible in the PDF.
