What is Image Rotation?

Image rotation turns your photo by 90, 180, or 270 degrees, or by any custom angle. Most useful for fixing photos taken sideways (phone in portrait when shooting landscape, or vice versa), or correcting documents scanned upside down. Free angles let you straighten a slightly tilted scan or photograph for that professional, level look.

Drop an image, click 90° / 180° / 270° preset or drag the angle slider for custom rotation. Live preview shows the result. The image keeps its full quality — for 90/180/270 rotations there is zero quality loss; custom angles use bilinear interpolation which is essentially imperceptible.

Why rotate with PDF7?

Lossless 90/180/270

Quarter-turn rotations have zero quality loss. Pixel-perfect identical to original, just oriented differently.

Custom angles

Drag the slider for any angle from -180° to +180°. High-quality interpolation keeps it sharp.

Frequently asked questions

Will free angles blur the image?

Very slightly — bilinear interpolation creates new pixels at angles. Most people can not tell at a glance. For 90/180/270, no blur whatsoever.

Will the file size change?

Roughly the same. Rotated image has same pixel count, just rearranged.

Can I rotate the EXIF data instead?

Some apps rotate via EXIF (a metadata flag) without changing pixels. We change actual pixels — works everywhere, including apps that ignore EXIF.
