What Is a UDF File?
UDF (UYAP Document Format) is a proprietary document format used by Turkey's national judiciary system UYAP (National Justice Network). Court decisions, lawyer correspondence, SGK notifications, and many official documents downloaded from the e-Government portal are delivered as .udf files. These files can normally only be opened with the UYAP Editor software — a significant barrier for users without a Windows PC or those who cannot install the software.
