What is Image Watermarking?

Image watermarking adds text or another image (typically a logo) onto your photos to mark them as yours, prevent unauthorized use, or brand them. Photographers watermark portfolios, businesses watermark product shots, and even casual users add their name to vacation photos before sharing. PDF7's watermark tool gives you full control: position, opacity, font, color, rotation.

Drop an image, type your watermark text (or upload a logo), and customize how it looks. Live preview shows the result. The original image is not touched — we work on a copy. Output supports same format you uploaded, or convert to JPG/PNG/WebP at the same time.

Frequently asked questions

Can someone remove my watermark?

Visible watermarks can be cropped or photoshop-cloned out by determined users. For real protection use opacity 30-50%, position diagonally across the image, and use multiple watermarks.

What format works best for image watermarks?

PNG with a transparent background. JPG works but the white background shows around your logo.

Can I watermark all my photos at once?

Yes — drop multiple images, customize the watermark once, we apply it to all and ZIP the results.

Does it modify the original?

No. We work on a copy. Your original photos on your computer are not touched.
